Bug with the Boss chain attack

A couple of runs that a friend and I did where unfortunately ended by a glitch, what happened was the boss attacked with his chain and pulled my friend in after killing me. I friend was able to kill him during the chain attack, unfortunately the chain did not disappear. So he was stuck in place while attached to the chain to the bead boss and unable to move further then the length of the chain attack.
