This is in no particular order, just some feedback from my 5 hours playing the game solo.
The battering ram is somewhat unreliable, and there is a delay in actually breaking open a door.
Flashbangs are very inconsistent. I usually end up accidentally flashing myself, instead of enemies. It also has too long a fuse time.
Frag grenades are damn near pointless. There should be a hint on the loading screen that explains the difference between an impact frag and a regular frag.
Smoke grenades are solid.
As a solo player, the only way that I can consistently get through office is with the shotgun.
It would be cool to change the ladder location in office, maybe move it around to the locations where you can place a deployable ladder?
Secure rooms that are accessed via cell phones often do not have anything useful for single players. Specifically, I’m talking about the team revive kit.
On office and mall, I find myself taking the same route because that is what is safest. I would like to see some variety in enemy spawn locations and or maybe chock/barricade different doors.
If a door is boarded off, let me blow it with a breaching charge. Make the breaching charge more expensive and have it as a risk/reward.
Dead drops are screwed. The dead drops are automatically added to a player’s inventory to be used immediately, but what is the purpose of having a physical dead drop location in the game? Also, these are set location spawns.
As a solo player, extracting means that I cower in a corner while I am bum rushed by enemies. On office, it is the same corner every single time.
Oil rig is scuffed as a single player. Mostly because you are forced to use your secondary weapon while carrying the hostage. This seems like a design choice, but what if the hostage had a health bar, and every time you put them down to use your primary, they lose health? This map is extremely hard solo.
Sometimes I fail the campaign and all of my earned money stays. Sometimes I fail a mission and I lose my money but I can replay the level. Sometimes I fail a mission and my progress and money stays. I have no idea what is going on with it.
Sniper spawns on mall should be more varied.
There is no countdown for extraction on mall.
Extraction locations should be randomized.
Give me more of a reason to run a deployable ladder, optiwand, breaching charge, smoke grenades.
If you’re going to make my character start in shorts at least let me unlock pants quicker. Its goofy and no operator would fight in shorts.
The flannel is skin tight, looks dumb.
The skills are rather useless, except for recharging armor on kill.
Having a skip sequence on the laptop decrypting doesn’t make any sense; causes me to spam the interact key
Skill ideas:
run two attachments on a primary or secondary weapon.
reduce flashbang fuse time by 50%
increase breaching charge blast radius by 100%
sprint faster with your pistol out
Gain health on kill
grenade effects for flash and smoke remain longer
turns your shotgun into a battering ram, lets you blow open doors
enemies take longer to detect you when making noise
Re-roll the extraction location once
gives one free dead drop/reduces dead drop cost by 25%
make less noise when walking
allows a user to pull out a tablet and use the spectator cameras
team revive kits can be used on yourself
enemies are low on funds, less likely to spawn heavy armor, snipers and chock doors
I love this game and will be buying it whenever it drops. I think it is very unique, challenging, and I love that you can’t aim down sights. Don’t make it easy for solo players, as the difficulty is what keeps bringing me back. I hope you consider my feedback. Thank you!
