Armor is currently in a spot where it’s great until it isn’t; certain aspects of it can be tedious. Namely the Armor Regen perk; without it, you can quickly be left with no armor near the start of a mission should a Berserker get the drop on you, forcing you scavenge for medkits….and with it, you often enter the next mission with a sliver of a single plate left on a 3-plate vest, and you quickly end up with several almost-broken Heavy Armors that can neither be sold nor repaired.
Introducing a consumable that can restore a single plate per use would offer players more breathing room, and could even offer some ways to do an “armor build” or “health build” through relevant perks, being armor durability and health regen respectively.
