I'd like to have AI companion bots for solo play or scaled down enemies and damage

I profoundly enjoyed the demo released months ago, but one gripe I have with the difficulty is that I’m a solo player, when the challenge is scaled to 4. I’d love it if the game added scaled enemy numbers, health and damage to fit a solo player, or add AI companions for solo play. It’s a great game, and I hope it becomes even better with time.
