Thank you for reporting this issue. Invite codes are currently stuck behind region locking which is not the intended behavior. This will be fixed.

Feedback for Party Browser (when it comes to fruition)

This game has support from quite a few players that would love to keep this game forward. However, a lot of games that feature co-op without the requisite player counts can also often struggle with player retention as many factors often can make matchmaking either unpleasant or outright dysfunctional, leaving players asking where are all the players? Are there players?

A lot of games that continue to retain an active and healthy playerbase without even the most minimal skeleton crew maintenance are upheld by server browsers, leaving them instrumental in their games’ longevity. (Looking at you, old Source games. Insurgency 2014, my beloved, how I hope you live forever.) Allowing players to glimpse at who is on, what they are doing, and whether they may have availability for them to join in the near future is what I believe may keep players more motivated to come back to pub with strangers.

Some suggestions I may have would be:

    • A display of the player count based on Steam’s data.

    • Server browser displaying server host’s name, lobby name, player count, ping, current

    • mission status (pre-planning, planning, in-mission, extraction, endgame mission stats)

    • The ability to check host’s game stats (whenever that comes around)/Steam profile before joining

    • Block/blacklist system for unsavory players you may not want to encounter

This is fantastic feedback and thank you for posting it! We’ll take this into consideration while we develop the party browser and include some of what you’ve suggested <3

I’ll merge this feedback with the feature request so we can keep track of it :)
